The Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Committee, or CEDS for short, is a partnership between East County EDC, South County EDC, and the City of San Diego to improve the prosperity of our businesses and quality of life in the CEDS area. The CEDS committee review and approves region-wide economic development funding proposals to the U.S. Economic Development Administration. CEDS aims to improve infrastructure, drive investment, grow the talent base and increase the economic potential
Be part of the Expo planning, our goal is to Empower job seekers and students to explore amazing opportunities that manufacturing career fields provide. ECEDC annually hosts the Manufacturing Expo & Resource Fair in October as a part of the U.S. Manufacturing Day, a nationwide effort to display today’s manufacturing and dispel common misconceptions. This event is open to the public and has grown in the last several years to host over 500 local manufacturers, resource providers, jobseekers, students, and general members of the public.
