Santee MAP
In 2020, the City of Santee created the Microenterprise Assistance Program (MAP) Program to provide grants of up to $10,000 to eligible Santee based small businesses (microenterprises) to help them continue to survive losses due to the coronavirus pandemic. Based on concerns from applicants, the MAP has been revised to not only provide funding assistance for past due rent, lease, mortgage and utilities, but to also provide funding for these expenses on a reimbursement basis as a means to cover documented revenue losses. MAP funds may also be used to reimburse the purchase of equipment and supplies related to the implementation of COVID-19 safety measures pursuant to State and County Public Health guidelines.
The City has partnered with the East County Economic Development Council (ECEDC) for the administration of this grant program so applications and associated documents will be completed on the ECEDC’s website. MAP Applications will be accepted from 9:00 a.m. on March 22, 2021 through 5:00 p.m. on April 12, 2021. APPLY BELOW!
